If a woman is trying to get pregnant having a balanced diet full of carbohydrates, protein and fats is crucial

When we see women who are trying to get pregnant, we always advise them to bump up their calories. So let’s say if a woman weighs 60 kgs and her daily caloric intake requirement is about 1200 to a normal woman who is not trying to get pregnant. We would say 60% coming from carbohydrates, 20 from protein, and 20% of the calories coming from fat.

If a woman is trying to get pregnant, we see, try and get about 40% of your daily caloric intake from carbohydrates, 40 from protein, and 20% from fat. So when a woman is trying to get pregnant, we also advise the woman, try and limit your caffeine intake, try and limit your alcohol intake. Have a good healthy breakfast because breakfast has there have been numerous studies that have shown that a good healthy breakfast, which is high in protein, helps women, to, get pregnant.

Also having a good exercise routine, maintaining your weight also increases a woman’s chance of getting pregnant. You must be hearing about this PCOD, which is becoming very common in women these days where women have irregular periods because of hormonal imbalance in their bodies, which is usually a result of excessive weight gain.

So if a woman is trying to get pregnant, we definitely encourage the woman to have a healthy diet, maintain a healthy weight, and have some form of physical exercise in her daily routine.
